Why go next door instead of down the street?
Bronxville is well served for general dentistry. The difference here is what happens after the examination: crowns, veneers and implant restorations are designed and milled in this building by our own technicians, and Dr. Boiano performs both the surgical and the prosthetic phases of implant treatment himself. Most practices send the case out and refer the surgery elsewhere.
At five minutes away, that means a same-day crown genuinely is same-day — scan, mill, bond, home before lunch.
Getting here from Bronxville
Walkable-adjacent for much of the village, and a short drive from the Bronxville Metro-North station on the Harlem Line. Parking and access are from White Plains Post Road (Route 22), not Main Street.
Drive time is about 5 minutes in normal traffic — a mile and a half from Bronxville.
What Bronxville patients come here for
- Dental implants — placed and restored by the same dentist
- CEREC one-visit crowns and veneers — milled in our own laboratory and bonded the same day
- Cosmetic dentistry — designed with our technicians in the building
- Family dentistry — children and adults, two dentists in the practice
- Sedation dentistry — nitrous, oral and IV, from mild to deep
Anything else Bronxville patients should know?
We have treated Bronxville families across generations since 1995, including patients who started here as children and now bring their own. If you are being treated at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital and need dental clearance before a procedure, we can usually accommodate that quickly given the distance.
Why do Bronxville patients choose Dr. Boiano?
Plenty of good dentists are closer to you than we are. Here is what the credentials actually are, so you can judge for yourself:
Education. DDS from New York University College of Dentistry. General practice residency at Westchester Medical Center, a Level I trauma center. A two-year surgical and prosthetic implant certificate from NYU — both halves of implant treatment, which is why one clinician can handle the whole case.
Credentials. Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). He holds a teaching position at Westchester Medical Center, instructing general practice residents and oral and maxillofacial surgery residents.
Experience. In practice since 1995. Placing and restoring implants for over 20 years — and more than 95% of the patients treated 20 years ago still have their implants, without issues.
Equipment. CEREC MC XL and Sirona X5 milling units and Vatech PaxDuo 3D imaging, running in our own laboratory, Digital Dental Designs, on site. Very few private dental practices in the United States own their lab.
Still deciding? Read the reviews rather than our description of them — several hundred across both offices, many from patients who have been with the practice for two decades: Eastchester reviews on Google · Throgs Neck reviews on Google. Full background: Dr. Giovanni Boiano, DDS, FAGD, FICOI.
